OUTstanding Cyclamen®

The best Morel varieties for outdoors

OUTstanding Cyclamen®

is the label for our selection of the best outdoor varieties giving the guarantee of a long flowering period in the garden, on the balcony or terrace. These top garden varieties have obtained the best scores among the tested varieties for you each year in extreme conditions.

Please note: These top garden varieties have obtained the best scores among the tested varieties each year in extreme conditions. But, not all the varieties of the Metis® and Tianis® series have been tested yet. Nor all the Premium and Latinia varieties.

This “best of the best” list, to be widened according to the results of the next trials, gathers the varieties to be privileged in more difficult climatic conditions, as in Northern Europe.

Important information for outdoor use

Cyclamen offer much pleasure to the gardener provided he chooses to place them in a sheltered spot away from heavy rains and prevailing winds. On a window-sill, in a porch, or in a flowerbox placed at the south side of the house for example. The best spot may vary according to the location.

Frost: cyclamen flowers dislike frost, but the buds under the foliage will remain protected and will be able to grow when the temperatures warm up again.

The leaves will remain decorative even after a period of frost down to -2°C /28°F.
Don't water excessively: in our tests we have noticed that an excess of water has a very negative effect on cyclamen, in the same way that frost does.
